This May, 007  fans will delight in the chance of experiencing Spirit Yachts’ famous 54 foot yacht, which starred in the James Bond film Casino Royale. The yacht will be showcased at London On-Water Yacht & Boat Show from 4th – 7th May 2016 at St Katharine Docks, London. Recently refitted, the stunning Spirit 54’ is currently up for sale, and will be on display alongside the recently launched 12m Spirit P40 coupé power boat. The iconic British yacht starred alongside Daniel Craig and Eva Green in Casino Royale©. Officially named Soufrière, the yacht was sold following her movie début and enjoyed subsequent years cruising and participating in competitive racing.  Soufrière recently returned to Spirit Yachts to complete a refit and is now for sale through Spirit’s brokerage department. Spirit Yachts CEO and head designer Sean McMillan said: “Soufrière was designed specifically for Casino Royale© following the production company’s search for a classically elegant, unique, British built yacht.  The scene in which Daniel Craig and Eva Green glide into Venice onboard Soufrière granted her a place in British film history. What better place to re-launch her to the public than London; the home of James Bond?” Balancing racing and leisure cruising  This elegant, modern classic yacht will appeal to a buyer looking to balance racing and leisure cruising. Soufrière features a forward owner’s cabin as well as a double cabin aft, both with en-suite facilities; ideal for owner and guest privacy. She will impress with a powerful rig and a displacement of just over eight tonnes, - ideal for longer passages when racing, but still with the capacity for easy cruising. A recent refit in the Spirit yard in Ipswich, Suffolk, meant Soufrière was given a fresh coat of paint on her elegant ice blue coloured hull and all external varnish was stripped and re-varnished where necessary. The interior woodwork has been re-varnished where required and all equipment from the engine to the rigging has been inspected and serviced. Spirit Yachts will be in berths C09 and C10 at London On-Water at St Katharine Docks from 4th – 7th May 2016.
