The hull is from 1983, mold-glued in 35 mm Sipo mahogany, coated with 2 layers of roving / epoxy and was built by Sommerfeld (at the time one of the best and most well-known names for wooden hulls in Germany). The ship was designed for long-distance voyages and life on board; good handling with a small crew and high-quality technology were a priority (Becker rudder, Proctor rig, Reckmann reefing systems, Beilken sails, KVH electronics, later B&G, etc.). The interior is friendly and very bright, it offers a lot of space and good standing heights in all areas. The woodwork can be described as very good. Equipped with a generator, washing machine, dryer, gas stove / 220V, hot water heating, etc. In the foreship there is a large bathroom with a very spacious shower on the starboard side.
