The LOCHIN name is legendarily recognised in many offshore commercial derivatives including police and pilot boats used worldwide. This vessel has the distinctive'reverse sheer' wheelhouse design making for a very practical approach to operating a vessel at sea. None of the strength and structural characteristics has been compromised and she is every bit a Lochin. The owner has completed the craft to an exceptionally high standard and no expense has been spared equipping her with the latest and best inventory package. Single CATERPILLAR C12 diesel engine rated at 705hp, with TWIN DISC reduction gearbox connected to a 2" stainless steel shaft and 5-bladed 26" x 26" propeller. Cruise speed: 17-18 knots @ 1900 rpm with fuel consumption of approx. 85 ltrs per hour and Max speed 26 knots.
Controls are: TWIN DISC EC300 electronic system with trolling valve option.
Hours run: Approx. 450hrs (as at 2019)

From forward: FORECABIN with double berth (stowage under) and deck hatch to the foredeck for emergency escape, etc. Access into forward bulkhead to the chain locker. Aft to GUEST CABIN to port with 2 x single 'tiered' berths with ventilation hatch above. To starboard, the GALLEY with work-top, 2-ring electric hob, Panasonic microwave oven & grill, Waeco 'fridge and stainless steel sink with H/C pressurised water supply. Ventilation hatch above. Steps to: WHEELHOUSE with starboard hand console and KAB510 suspension helm seat with engine instrument panel and appropriately located navigational aids. Chart table to port with a further 2 x KAB510 suspension seats. Aft also port side is situated a U-shaped seating arrangement with a table which can convert to a double berth if required. Aft of the helm seat is a single passenger seat. HEADS COMPARTMENT positioned aft on the starboard side - this is generously sized with Jabsco sea-toilet, wash hand-basin (H&C) and shower. Access hatch to the forward engine room. The craft has ample stowage facilities throughout, including hanging lockers and under berth storage. Eberspacher cabin warm air heating system with outlets throughout the cabin environment. COCKPIT AREA: The deck is finished with a non-slip surface and has flush-fitted Hercules aluminium deck hatches, giving access to the aft end of engine and steering geometry, etc. Transom scuppers provide for the quick evacuation of deck water. Stainless steel guard rails ensure safety in this area. Stern door and new hatches added 2015.
