*PRICE RECENTLY REDUCED*: The LOCHIN 33 GDSV was developed for commercial 'offshore' operations as a patrol vessel for police operations. This vessel saw service with Dorset Police in the 1980/90's and subsequently with the London Met. Police. Now in private hands, she has been re-powered with sensible Volvo engines giving her a sparkling performance. She is equally suitable to re-enter the 'commercial world' or for use as a 'distance cruiser' with all the advantages the Lochin hull design provides.

Owner Comments
"The Owner reports his joy at using 'Castaway' for distance 'passage-making' travelling and, - as a retired journalist with Motor Boats Monthly - has used her on many occasions marshalling other boaters across the Channel ......as well as his own investigations of Northern Europe."
Broker Comments
'It is always a pleasure to offer for sale a vessel that has a significant history - 'Castaway' is no exception. The relatively new engine installation means she can reach her operational potential. From our inspection, she will need some cosmetic improvement but has all the potential to retunr to a commercial operation or serve as a fine cruiser. Moored at the Lochin yard at Newhaven, East Sussex, with the Broker.'
