About

Features
Built in 1974 by Gregson & Chadcastle in Blyth for the Royal Maritime Auxiliary Service (RMAS), Instow was a dedicated dive support vessel. In 2003 she was purchased from the MOD by the current owner for commercial use. Just prior to decommissioning from the MOD she underwent an extensive refit & structural modification to further enhance her operational capabilities. Since passing to the current owner she has undergone regular & extensive maintenance. From her last slippage & refit (2014) she has been maintained under a “care & maintenance” basis. Despite her current external aesthetic finish she is structurally very sound & of a good operation status together with a range of on-board equipment.

To return her to Certification is not considered a major task.
