Swan 53 Hull #50 BARAKA is the last of the successful Swan 53's built by Nautor. With the tall rig and centreboard/keel underbody she is both well balanced at sea and ideal for cruising with her shoal draft when the centreboard is up. Iconic Swan performance, quality, safety and pedigree at a very reasonable price. She has the preferred arrangement with a double berth and single aft, with two cabins with upper and lower berths forward. Full Osmosis treatment completed June 2019. Solid GRP hull with GRP cored deck with teak overlay (new teak deck 2007)
Hull is standard Nautor construction solid laminate layup with cored longitudinal and transverse stiffeners. Built to both Lloyds and ABS approved standards.
Hull & superstructure in original white gelcoat with painted green boot-stripe and cabin side swath.
Keel with centerboard reduces draft to 6'-6" or 2.0 M allowing cruising access to a vast array of anchorages around the world.
60" Steering wheel, emergency tiller
Composite rudder, High tensile stainless steel stock with upper and lower bearings.
Teak decks and custom teak toe rail installed 2008 no fastenings, no bungs, no leaks.
Plus a lovely teak toe rail replaced the standard aluminium toe rail.

Lovely, traditional and world renowned Nautor's Swan interior; hand rubbed teak, proper fiddles, quality hardware, teak and holly sole with white leather upholstery. Table comfortably seats six. The comfort, elegance and style you know and expect from the great combination of German Frers and Nautor.
Aft cabin has double berth to starboard and single berth to port. Two cabins forward. Fixed upper and lower berths to starboard. Port cabin has full lower berth and pull down upper berth. Forepeak has stainless steel worktops, storage lockers. Both forward and aft heads have showers, basins and toilets.
Fore & aft galley to port with large refrigerator and deep freezer, Aples four hob stove with oven, Siemens microwave, double bowl stainless steel sink all configured for safety and comfort under sail, with direct access to the table or cockpit.
Full width saloon. L shaped banquet and table to port, bench for two on centerline, two seat settee to starboard with large chart table and proper navigator's seat to starboard aft. Access to aft cabin from both port and starboard. Proper wet locker next to companionway, substantial storage throughout the boat.
The Swan 53 was designed to be sailed and the elegant interior arrangement reflects the knowledge gained from the experience of many years and sea miles. This particular yacht as the last on the successful line incorporates the optimum elements or options of the iconic design.
