Built in 1979 by Deacons Boatyard to a design by Sparkman & Stephens. Blue GRP hull with style stripes, resprayed in midnight blue (Awlgrip) in 2010. Teak toe rail. White GRP superstructure with blue painted non-slip to decks. Long shallow keel with lifting centreplate. Skeg hung rudder. Tiller steering. Aft self draining cockpit. 2009 insurance survey.
After the purchase in 2009, the present owner embarked on a refurb with the aim of extended cruising. The hull was resprayed, standing rigging and guard wire replaced. All ports removed and resealed. Deck hatches added, new exhaust system fitted, 12v system rewired, mast refurbished and rewired, new electronics added and mains power fitted. Unfortunately, due to illness, only very few local outings were achieved and some work is left to complete for extended cruising.
