The Lone Gull II was designed by Maurice Griffiths as a shoal draft cruiser than can dry out easily on the hard. They are a simple, stoutly built design with well mannered performance and spacious accommodation below decks. This excellent example was built by Whisstocks, Woodbridge, and has been maintained to a very high standard throughout its life. The accommodation offers four berths in two cabins, with full standing headroom. In the forecabin, double berth to starboard with stowage under. Opening hatch to foredeck. Two opening portholes. Built in 1968 by Whisstocks, Woodbridge to a design by Maurice Griffiths. Carvel Iroko planking on sawn oak frames. Copper fastened. Cream painted topsides.
