Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 34.2 owner's version offering 4 berths in 2 cabins (a berth conversion could easily be added in the saloon for 2 further berths), with approx. 6'3" max. headroom. Double berth forward with storage under berth, hanging locker, dressing area and opening hatch to foredeck. Saloon with a large seating area to starboard with dining table, movable bench stool for additional seating and storage beneath and outboard. Linear galley opposite to port equipped with an Eno two burner gas cooker with oven, twin stainless steel sinks, refrigerator, and ample stowage in various drawers, cupboards and a large locker with shelves aft. Forward facing chart table to starboard fitted with an electrical distribution panel, navigation equipment and offering chart and equipment storage. Aft cabin to starboard with a double berth, hanging locker and opening portlight. Heads aft to port in a separate compartment with marine toilet, holding tank, washbasin, shower, electric shower pump out and useful wet locker at aft end. Hot and cold pressurised water throughout with an upgraded pump (new 2017) and accumulator fitted.
Located beneath companionway, Volvo MD2030 3-cylinder 29hp inboard diesel engine. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Electric start. Single lever controls on pedestal. Shaft drive with rope cutter to 2-bladed propeller. Rev counter, fuel gauge and warning lights. During current ownership the engine has been serviced and winterised annually, with the last service in March 2019 by a local marine engineer ready for the season.
4 x 12v Batteries (3 x domestic all new 2015, new engine start 2018) charged via engine alternator. Shorepower system with ring mains, immersion coil for water heating and battery charger. Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 34.2 built in 1998 by Jeanneau to a Jacques Fauroux and Jeanneau design. White GRP hull, superstructure and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. The hull was coated beneath the waterline with three coats of epoxy from new. Aluminium toe rail. Cast iron shallow fin keel. Wheel steering to spade hung rudder. Teak laid cockpit seats. Walk through transom to bathing platform with teak step. Angel is only in her second ownership since new and has clearly benefitted from continuous and thorough maintenance, with the latest works including having the windows and portlights professionally inspected and resealed in March 2019.
