This Halmatic 30 is a very attractive & extremely solid, long keel cruiser that was designed by John Sharp as the predecessor to the Barbican 30. She has been continually been updated by her Owners including a brand new Yanmar 3YM30 engine in 2013, new S/T winches in 2017 & in 2000, she was fitted with a complete new mast and rig. Built to full Lloyds Construction standards & Offering 4 berths, comfortable saloon, galley & heads, she has the feel of a more traditional cruising yacht that encompasses a feeling of warmth and security. She also comes with GPS, VHF & EPIRB amongst other items meaning she is ready to sail & take to new adventures. The Halmatic 30 sleeps 4 people in the fwd cabin and the saloon:
Fwdcabin with V berth, 2 good singles or infill to make a double berth, lots of storage below, storage bags above, hanging locker, large opening hatch, access to chain locker and a door to the saloon
Heads to starboard with Blakes Lavac sea toilet with blakes seacocks (new 2017), SS basin with manual tap, storage above and below unit, air vent and door to saloon
Opposite the heads is the hanging locker and a useful storage unit with shelf above the trotter box
The saloon is ample and cosy with 2 single settee berths with lee cloths, storage beneath in lined lockers and above in lockers, the starboard settee back folds down to reveal a further large storage area. It has a drop leaf table, oil lamp on bulkhead, LED and normal lighting
Chart table to starboard with good sized table and storage within and removable seat, large bookshelf behind and open locker beneath, electric panels and space for mounting electronics, clock and barometer
The galley is to port, L shaped with a single bowl SS sink with manual tap, melamine worktop, Spinflo "Nelson" 2 burner cooker with oven and grill, cool box, further moulded storage box and lockers above and below, draw and handy "open" locker for grab bag etc
Externally is a deep, safe cockpit with 2 large lockers, port side containing the vented gas locker plus an additional stern locker
