Owners Comments

I bought Celestia in February 2019 as an introduction to yachting. I have taken her over 1000 miles in 10 months of sailing in 2019 and this interrupted year. About half of those I have sailed single-handed which is simply a pleasure in this cleverly designed yacht. I had never sailed a yacht before and have gone from complete novice to RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore Theory and Yachtmaster Coastal Practical success in that time (I am a very experienced dinghy racer). Celestia has been the perfect little yacht, having all of the systems of a larger boat in a compact and easily managed package. Both crewed and single-handed we have enjoyed some success in the Hayling Island Sailing Club Cruiser racing series and last September we won the CCRC Little Sparkes Trophy for boats racing under NHC handicap. In the right conditions, especially with the big spinnaker set, we can give much bigger boats a run for their money! It's now time for me to move up to a bigger racer/cruiser and I therefore, with much reluctance, must part with a great little boat.
