Nelson - a name that inspires confidence and enthusiasm for the sea! Since the 1960's, Comdr. Thornycrofts inspired understanding of the sea has culminated is an extensive and identifiable range of designs operated as police and pilot vessels the world over. Subsequently those of TT Boat Designs (Arthur Mursell) have continued this mantle under the Nelson banner - and supremely capable they are too! 'Out of the Blue' is a Dale Nelson 38 taking essentially a proven working hull and adding a liberalised interior to provide a comfortable and refined living environment. This example has been well maintained and much improved by her current ownership. She will cruise comfortably at 20 knots and cope with our typical Channel sea conditions with ease. Benefitting from a complete interior carpet replacement in February of 2021, finished to a high standard in red with a slight blue fleck. This is a stunning vessel but must be seen and more importantly appreciated in the environment she loves best - the sea!
