Designed by Nauta, this model has 3 Cabins & 3 Heads.
The aft cabins comprise an island double bed, wardrobes and ample bookshelves. The bright, well-ventilated interior has large windows in the hull sides and facing aft, both with opening ports. Each aft cabin has a fabulous bathing area with a separate walk-in shower. The fore-cabins are equally generous: double beds again, with side access and good stowage, all bathed in light. In the saloon of the new 42, functionality is the watchword: a generous dining table capable of accommodating all the crew plus a few neighbours, a large chart table and a fully-equipped galley to starboard with hob, oven, stainless steel sink and ample stowage. There is a easy communication with the skipper at the helm and the cockpit/ galley making it an easy boat sail shorthanded. All controls are led to the helm, excellent visability all round.
