Owners Comments
Valour was commissioned to a Trinity House Order, the GRP deck and hull all moulded to the highest specifications by Halmatic which were extremely robust for the service duties. Her service life was from 1971 to de commissioning in 1994 when the present owner purchased her from Associated British Ports. The owner sadly wished to sell her after a most enjoyable 20 years Peter Thornycroft developed the 40ft "V" class Nelson and in his own words "I got this absolutely right, the sleek pretty lines, the low freeboard and tough build made this the most famous pilot boats afloat" Valour is a delight to handle and the current owner has used her frequently singe handed A true ship with no bad vices
