This Island Plastics 24 with her high bow and canoe stern demonstrates the trawler inspiration behind this chunky but compact sea going boat. Sadly, she is now an executor sale and needs some attention to paint and varnish due to a year of neglect. Spacious boat and very sensibly priced. The layout of this Islands Plastics 24 four berths in 2 cabins with a headroom of 5’8”. Simple layout with the wheelhouse encompassing the helmsman’s position above the engine box. To starboard is the galley area with a Flavel, 2 hob, oven and grill, with stainless steel sink. Going forward the main cabin incorporates a heads enclosure to starboard and two single berths.
Sails and Spars
Sloop rigged with masthead main, anodised mast and boom, stainless steel standing rigging, adjustable backstay, Terylene running rigging, mainsail roller reefing, furling headsail. Sails: 1 x Mainsail 1 x Foresail
