This Island Plastic 24 motor sailer was built by the Bristol Boat Company in 1986. Only six were built, as a rival to the Fisher 25.
Steering is from the after deck by tiller, or by wheel from the fully enclosed wheelhouse. The wheelhouse is a good size with seating for the helmsman to port and further seating to starboard. There is good visibility from the wheelhouse.
Going forward into the saloon there is headroom of around 5 ft 10 ins and with the table and seating area set to the side it is easy to move through the cabin.
Beyond the wheelhouse the accommodation is well designed. It offers 5 berths in two cabins. The forecabin has twin V berths. The marine toilet is concealed in the centre under this berth. There is a vanity unit in the forecabin with a stainless steel wash basin with manually pumped cold water supply, a mirror and ample storage. There is a large hanging locker opposite to starboard.
In the saloon the seating area with table converts to a double berth. A further quarter berth is aft to starboard under the removable chart table.
The galley offers a 2-burner gas cooker with grill and oven and a stainless steel sink with cold water supply. There is ample storage provided.
