The 1974 Colvic Northerner, single screw motor cruiser, professionally completed from standard Colvic mouldings Presented in good condition. The Colvic Northerner sleeps 4 comfortably in 2 cabins. The wood finished main cabin consists of a galley on the starboard side which has a gas fuelled 2 burner hob and grill and to its left a s/steel sink with cold manually pumped water. Separate heads compartment with a sea toilet. Forward is a roomy 2 berth cabin with locker and storage space. All cushions upholstered in new blue draylon. Carver warm air heating not tested.
Sails and Spars
When rigged for sailing, it’s a masthead Bermudan sloop, aluminium mast on a tabernacle, aluminium boom, stainless steel standing rigging, with slab reefing, and hank on headsail. Winches 2 x Sheet winches Sails 2 x Mainsails 2002 2 x Genoa’s 2002
Mechanical Systems
The Colvic Northerner is powered by a single Ford XLD40 installed in 2000, four-cylinder 40hp turbocharged diesel engine (707 hours as of July 2018, last serviced 2014 no use since). Shaft drive to a single 3 bladed bronze propellor. Single lever Morse control. 220 litre plastic fuel tank. Secondary engine 2006 8hp Yamaha four stroke, with electric start and single lever Morse control (only 25 hours)

2 x 12-volt batteries, charging from the engine alternator, shore power connection with 240-volt ring main.

History and Construction
Solidly constructed white fibreglass hull with cast iron long keel with small twin bilge keels. Deck is of sandwich constructed GRP and wood through bolted to hull and painted in blue non-skid paint with white Treadmaster. Wheel house superstructure and cockpit floor of wood with varnish finish. Wooden rudder and wheel steering on port side.
