About

This is a very unique widebeam boat (55ft x 11.5ft) which was fully refurbished in 2015 by the current owners to an extremely high standard, designed for living aboard and recently blacked (June 2017 with replacement anodes and international paint).

Comprising of large living saloon with fitted wood burning stove (5KW ESSE) and storage underneath. Oak faced side walls complimented by dark wood finish below the gunnel. Fitted cupboards with glass doors along one side of the living area and storage in the form of draws underneath the step out to the bow.

Large windows bring lots of light into the living area from the bow with double doors that open out to the front of the boat. The bow area is large enough for two chairs and a small table and accommodates the gas locker and anchor store.

A large corner sofa sits to one side of the saloon with matching rug and contemporary pictures and under gunnel lighting (dimmable). An open plan galley extends at the back of the living area which is very modern and fully fitted. Storage within this area is maximised without losing any sense of space with two corner carousels and twelve drawers all finished in a high gloss grey with stainless steel handles. Pop up electric points are provided at each corner of the black and speckled worktop that can be pushed into the worktop when not used. Each comes with three power sockets and USB charging capability.

An LPG stainless steel gas range cooker with five burner hob, double oven and pan storage is complimented by a glass splashback displaying Hong Kong harbour. A black one and a half bowl sink with chrome slim line mixer tap sits under the window, with storage and a Hotpoint washer/dryer underneath.

Microwave and storage sit opposite the sink cleverly hidden from view with separate Shoreline (12v) fridge and freezer next to this.
This whole area is kept light and airy with a white ceiling with modern recessed down lighters (12V LED) and a black centre panel housing the ventilation ports. Large coach style windows run down either side of the boat which have top openers and are dressed with venetian blinds housed in oak style trim.
A large spacious corridor leads to the bathroom and the bedroom with built in storage for an ironing board. A sliding door with portal window opens into the bathroom which houses a double shower, vanity unit with counter top basin and waterfall tap and a white porcelain toilet.

The shower is complimented by a chrome mixer with matching chrome shower caddy. Water drainage is automatic via a Whale Shower pump.

Built in storage which is cleverly concealed into the wall of the bathroom matches his and hers mirrors. Further storage is provided within the vanity unit which also hosts the charging mechanism and cassette storage for the Dometic Vacuum toilet. An electric heated towel rail sits above the porcelain toilet with electronic flushing mechanism and LED cassette status indicators.

A small extractor fan and recessed LED down lighters are complimented with mood lighting for evening and night time use.
The bedroom is accessed at either side of a fixed kingsize bed with built in drawer space underneath. The bed also houses the 90 Litre calorifier which has twin coils (not connected) and a 1 KW immersion heater. Full length double wardrobes with sliding doors in black glass run down one side of the room with a smaller wardrobe which houses a safe.

At the other side of the bed there is a wall of storage cupboards and drawers comprising of 6 cupboards and 12 drawers. All finished in modern grey bamboo gloss with chrome handles, the electric panels are housed in two of the cupboards for ease of access.
A row of hardwood shelves complete the look with the window furnished with a white Venetian blind and small reading lights built into the velvet headboard.

The room is kept private by floor to ceiling sliding mirror doors which fully close off this area and house further storage shelves cleverly built in. An electric ceramic heating unit is located on the back gunnel to provide additional heating into the rear of the vessel when required.
The flooring is finished in vinyl with a wood effect which is hard wearing and easy to clean. Stairs lead out to the wheelhouse at the rear of the boat and house the MasterVolt Inverter and the galvanic isolator.
The wheelhouse built from hardwood comprises of a wraparound design with two banks of 9 windows spanning the rear of the boat. Large windscreen and side windows provide a panoramic view and a large seating area in leather effect provides a comfortable area for lounging. Each seat includes cupboard storage currently housing the spare toilet cassettes and other auxiliary equipment.

Split doors are fitted to either side of the wheelhouse which can be locked back into place during transit. The sparrow design has been cleverly etched into the doors which are a real head turner.

The wheel house can be dropped if required working on electrical rams which can be independently controlled. Dual steering is also available via the hydraulic wheel which sits in a custom cabinet with storage and housing the instrument panel or via a removable tiller.
