No need to feel guilty gliding into the world’s smartest marinas in this luxury trimaran – it’s the latest super-green superyacht from Pi Super Yachts!
Pi Super Yachts has revealed its latest luxury eco trimaran project – the Dragonship 30 – which is expected to achieve speeds of up to 16 knots with near zero carbon emissions. Noise levels from this extraordinary yacht will also be impressively low, even when under power.
The UK yacht-building firm is known for its ‘blue sky thinking and blue sea ethos’ and is committed to designing and crafting green energy superyachts. “We have created and use revolutionary technology that enables our trimarans to sail the globe with the use of low carbon fuels, which means all you’ll leave in your wake is near crystalline water and an undamaged marine environment,” says the company.
The 30m project Dragonship 30 has sail power with the back up of an alternative power source. There are twin compact turbine engines for a top speed of over 35 knots plus with additional options to increase this speed. As with other Pi Super Yachts models the Dragonship 30 features all electric systems and has near silent running even when under power. Pi will offer hybrid version which comes with a lightweight hybrid power source with distance ranges of up to 7500km.
Owners of this spectacular looking vessel will find plenty of space, light and comfort on board, and can enjoy the opportunity of choosing their own bespoke style and layout. The 4-deck power trimaran design features a living space onboard of around 500sq m. The Dragonship 30 has a length of 31.8m and a beam of 16m on three planing hulls.
Concept designs revealed at the London on-Water luxury yacht show this May, reveal a sumptuous sun deck with outside kitchen, Jacuzzi and sun loungers. There is room here for dining for 12 guests. The Dragonship 30 has a single helm station, tender crane and the optional 6m Pi Super Electric Tender.
Dragonship 30 is part of the Power Dragon range. Other projects from Pi Super Yachts include a 25m and an 80m model. The Dragonship 80 (pictured below) is believed to be the largest sailing trimaran in the world, boasting stability and near zero carbon emissions.
