Since its inception, Van der Valk has built a rich heritage in both steel and aluminium motor yachts. The Van der Valk Explorer 21m is a contemporary go anywhere yacht for transatlantic passages and tough weather. Whatever the conditions, the rugged yet elegant long range design by Guido de Groot can be trusted to perform as well as it looks. 

Her styling manages to be classic, timeless yet quite distinctive, while offering a fresh and innovative take on the explorer look. The Explorer 21m is built to endure the toughest weather conditions, and is specifically designed with a large fuel capacity, enabling this vessel to make transatlantic passages. 

This yacht is built in a full displacement version with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. However, this yacht is also available as full aluminium fast displacement vessel. It can be built in any size between 65-132 ft (20-40m).

A full range of options are available. This includes a variety of mechanical, plumbing and electrical options, helm, navigation and electronics alternatives, and a comprehensive range of finish materials, textures and colours.
