The Southerly 110, designed by Rob Humphreys, is a versatile family cruiser with excellent performance and undoubted build quality. The lifting keel allows access to shallow water cruising grounds and the rig is easily handled short handed. The beautifully built interior is fitted out with cherry joinery and has a light airy feel. There is full headroom and good ventilation and stowage throughout. The layout offers up to eight berths, with two double sleeping cabins separate from the main accommodation. In the fore cabin, single berth with infill to make double, plus a child bunk bed. In saloon, dinette to port with single settee berth opposite. Steps up to chart table to starboard with galley opposite. Corian work surface. Plastimo two burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven. Stainless steel 1.5 sinks with pressurised hot and cold water supply. 205 litre freshwater capacity. Refrigerator in worktop. Separate heads compartment to starboard (also en-suite with aft cabin) with marine toilet, shower and washbasin. Holding tank. Steps down to aft cabin. Large double berth to starboard. Hanging lockers, dressing table and general stowage. Diesel fired central heating system. Fawn patterned cloth upholstery.
Located behind the companionway. Year 2009, Yanmar 3YM30 three cylinder 29hp diesel engine. Electric start. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Shaft drive to three bladed folding propeller. Single lever control. 182 litre fuel capacity giving approximately 250 mile range at 6 knots cruising speed. Maximum speed under power 7 knots. The engine has completed no more than 1000 hrs (meter not working) and has been regularly serviced, last done in Autumn 2022.

Fractional rigged sloop. Anodised aluminium mast and boom by Selden Spars, 2009. Stainless steel standing rigging, 2009 will need replacement. Terylene running rigging (main and jib halyards in Spectra). Single line slab reefing mainsail with lazyjacks. Furlex headsail furling system. Lines led aft to cockpit to two Lewmar 46 self tailing winches. Lewmar 8 self tailing mast winch for jib halyard. Rod kicker.
Built by Northshore in 2009 to a design by Rob Humphreys. White GRP hull with style stripes. Hull Coppercoated in 2018. Teak toe rails. White GRP superstructure with moulded non-slip to deck. Lifting keel. Twin spade rudders. Wheel steering. Aft self draining cockpit. Teak laid cockpit seating and sole. Walk-through transom. Bathing platform.
This boat has been in her ownership from new in 2009. Her owners are now giving up sailing.
