With more than 2,000 square feet of modern comfort, this mint condition, 60ft BONDWAY, is currently berthed in Langkawi. Very well maintained and was updated by the current owners. DANNEBROG has vast amounts of living space and benefits from the “wedding cake” design, three levels of silver-tinted panoramic windows guaranteeing great views while protecting the interiors from heat and direct sunlight. Typically, a much larger vessel would be needed to achieve this much interior space. This model was designed for the Hong Kong market to provide a home on the water in an exclusive upmarket marina. The majority of the owners were Cathay Pacific pilots and their families. This particular boat was owned by a Danish family and custom built for them. DANNEBROG is the name of the Danish Flag.
The vessel came to life in 2008 and was a home for the first owners in Hong Kong for ten years. The vessel was shipped to Phuket and the present owners took ownership in 2019 and steamed down to Langkawi where the vessel is now berthed for an excellent business opportunity.
Only regretfully for sale the vessel lends herself so well to Airbnb here in the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club, Kuah. The layout offers one private level for up to five guests whilst retaining a private suite for the owners. The guests' level is private, comprising 3 bedrooms, sitting room and full bathroom. The private sitting room has TV, Wifi, refrigerator and expresso machine. The BBQ deck, dining room, kitchen, lounge saloon and deck are shared with the owners.
A buyer may promote the business, enjoy good income, and be living aboard concurrently here in Langkawi or re locate for the same.

The owners’ cabin is in the bow. It has a raised king size bed built into the bow and a cathedral ceiling space making it very impressive for the owner or guests. There is a full ensuite bathroom with spacious shower and generous storage spaces. An electronic room safe is concealed under the bathroom sink.
The main deck is occupied by a large saloon which leads out to a rear deck. Glass concertina doors allow full opening of the rear of the boat. The upper-decks boast a mezzanine kitchen with panoramic tinted windows, a top deck dining room with a stunning epoxy river table opening onto a large covered terrace with outdoor dining and glass door entertaining refrigerator.
The current owners purchased Dannebrog in Thailand with the intention of relocating it to Langkawi. In preparation for the voyage the following upgrades were completed.
On arrival in Langkawi a number of upgrades and maintenance tasks were undertaken to complete the refurbishment.
All 102 small downlights and some of the cupboard downlights were changed to LED’s.
Stair Lights were changed to blue LED’s
The Beef Eater gas BBQ was upgraded to have piped LPG from the cylinder storage
The teak deck on and around the bow was removed and reworked in fibreglass. This saves on future maintenance.
All the hardware on the concertina glass doors were changed
Most of the hinges on the galley doors and some cupboard doors were upgraded.
A water filter system was added at the dock, to filter dock water before it enters the boat. • A quick switch-over system was added to the water filter in the engine room. The main filter is a “whole house” filter, but this can be changed to a 5 micron local filter for changeover or cleaning access.
The brightwork – rails, entry deck, stairs were sanded and changed to teak oil finish to save on future maintenance (more often but quicker ad no sanding )
The BBQ area was refurbished and treated with single pack epoxy coating on the floor.
The Capt.'s Cabin shower tray was upgraded with new drains and stainless steel drain tray. • Internet connectivity was upgraded with mesh Wi-Fi coverage and multiple broadcast points.
With an estimated 30% occupancy annual earnings may be circa MYR 183,000. Monthly berthing and utility charges are MYR 3,300, resulting in annual gross profits circa MYR 144,000
As an owner operator a buyer should make healthy returns whilst enjoying the life afloat on DONNEBROG.
