This Rodman 41 Yacht B with IPS Pod drives was built in late 2006 to 2007 specification and was launched in 2007. The Rodman 41 has superb sea keeping qualities and excellent build quality. This particular motor yacht has three double cabins, two with single berths and a master double berth with en-suite and a double berth in the saloon. Electronics have been updated. This Roadman 41 yacht offers eight berths in three cabins and saloon. The forward owners cabin has a centreline double berth with underneath storage and two hanging lockers. The cabin is light and airy with the large port holes and opening deck hatch. the bedhead has a large mirror and reading lights either side.
The owners cabin has an en-suite heads has a single handbasin with Corian worktop, storage cupboards above. there is a Vacuflush marine toilet and walk in shower cubicle.
Aft of the owners cabin and to starboard is the Starboard guess cabin with twin single berths with a large wardrobe, central bedside table. the cabin is light and airy with the reading lights and large portholes which have blinds.
Opposite is the Port guess cabin which has two bunk berths, a large wardrobe and bedside table with reading lights. There is a guess heads to starboard with again Corian worktops, Vacuflush marine heads with a handbasin and shower cubicle.
Steps take you up to the Galley which is to Port. the galley has a single stainless steel sink, electric hob with two hotplates, 12v fridge with freezer box, microwave and Corian worktops. The is appeal storage space for food, crockery and cutlery and cooking utensils.
Opposite the internal helm position with its double helmsman seat, and array of navigation equipment and engine dials. The helmsman seat being slightly raised give good around visibility over people sat in the saloon and forward over the foredeck bathing cushions.
Aft of the galley and helmsman seta is the saloon which has a U-shaped settee to starboard with adjustable table that can be made into a double berth if required. Opposite to port is a two seater sofa. There is lots of storage spaces around the saloon and under the saloon floor.. The boat has cream leather upholstery and Eberspacher heating throughout including outlets to the aft cockpit enclosure.
The is a large aft cockpit with all-round seating and a central large opening teak table. Steps with teak inserts lead up to the flybridge which has ample seating, sunbathing areas, a fridge, sink and Bimini to provide shade when required. All of the navigation instruments are repeated at the Flybridge making handling simple with great all-round visibility.
This Rodman 41 yacht is fitted with twin Volvo Penta IPS500 D6 370HP diesel engines with approximately 850 hours on them as at 8th June 2023. The engines are fitted with Volvo Penta IPS 500 gearboxes to pods which have 3 and 4 blade contra rotating props. The engines are controlled by electronic dual station controls and IPS joysticks. The engine exhaust system is incorporated into the IPS transmission with the exhaust fumes mixed with the cooling water with a submerged system that minimises noise and gas emissions.
The steering is powered by an electro-hydraulic system which facilitates the manoeuvring operations and assists standard steering. The engines and IPS drives were last at the end of 2022
The motor yacht has four 12 volt batteries, two engine and two domestic batteries charged by the engine alternator and a 60 AH battery charger via a 240 shore power ring main with sockets in each of the cabins, galley and saloon. A Sterling inverter is also fitted.

This Rodman 41 Yacht B was built in later 2006 to a 2007 specification and commissioned in 2007. It was built by Rodman Polyships of Spain to a Lloyds certification. It is made of a Ivory GRP hull and superstructure with teak floors in the cockpit and stairs leading up to the flybridge. The vessel was last out of the water in March 2023 when the IPS drives were serviced the hull was polished, antifouled and the anodes changed.
