Windy are known for their sparkling performance, timelessly stylish designs, built in Norway and benefitting from the superb quality of construction Scandinavian builders are renowned for, making them an excellent prestigious alternative to the more commonly seen Nimbus, Fairline Targa, or Sealine SC ranges! Footloose has only had two owners from new, has been very well maintained by her current owner of 16yrs, and is likely to be one of the best of her class. Her impressive inventory includes a generator, inverter, heating, holding tank, bow thruster, and recent Raymarine 12" plotter and cockpit enclosure. The accommodation offers up to five berths in two sleeping cabins plus the saloon with good headroom throughout.
FORWARD CABIN: Large island double berth with under-bed storage drawers, two hanging lockers, reading lights, mirror, and shelves. Two opening portlights with curtains and an opening hatch to foredeck fitted with a three-way blind provide natural light and ventilation. LCD TV and CD player (untested in current ownership).
GALLEY AND SALOON: Linear galley to starboard equipped with a Wallas 2-burner ceramic diesel hob, Bosch microwave oven, Isotherm refrigerator, stainless steel sink, and ample storage. Opposite the galley is an L-shaped settee providing comfortable seating around a dining table with folding leaves, and a settee berth if required. Eye-level lockers and a multi-compartment storage cupboard at the companionway provide useful, easily accessed storage, whilst three opening portlights and a large hatch provide natural light and ventilation.
AFT CABIN: Fitted with a large U-shaped berth (which can be used either as two single berths or as a double if preferred), headboard, and reading lights. A full-height entrance area allows plenty of space to get ready without exiting the cabin (rare at this size) with a hanging locker and en suite access to the heads compartment. Opening portlight with curtains.
HEADS COMPARTMENT: Separate heads compartment to starboard accessed via the saloon or aft cabin, fitted with a marine toilet, washbasin with combined shower, shower seat, mirror, and storage lockers. Macerator system and holding tank (both new 2021) with deck and overboard discharge facilities. Opening portlight with curtains.
GENERAL EQUIPMENT: Hot and cold pressurised water system throughout via calorifier with immersion coil. Diesel-fired warm air heating system. Cream upholstery, teak and holly sole boards, and complimenting curtains throughout with premium quality cabinetry. Fitted bed linen is included for both the fore and aft cabins.
EXTERNAL SPACE: The teak-laid aft cockpit has a large U-shaped seating area aft to starboard which can convert to a large sunlounger. Forward, the helm seat and navigators bench both have flip-up bolsters for standing whilst underway, and comfortably providing forward-facing seating for three adults. To port is a wet bar with refrigerator (new 2018), sink, and moulded storage for cushions and other items. A good selection of stainless steel grabrails and drinks holders are provided, but designed to be unobtrusive and stylish as well as practical, and the hardtop has a large powered sun hatch for warm sunny days. A lazerette forward gives plenty of space for storing additional equipment, and the large engine compartment is easily accessed thanks to the electronically opening hatch and fitted stainless steel ladder. Moving aft, the walk-through transom leads to a generous bathing platform with hot and cold shower, built-in fender rack, and a concealed bathing ladder.

The engines and outdrives were serviced in Spring 2023 and bellows replaced in December 2021 ready for the 2022 (due again at the end of the 2023 season), and have currently run for approx. 750hrs since new (the hour meters have failed as is common place, but her owner kept a very accurate log both before and after) equating to optimal usage of around 42hrs per season (as at October 2023, this may increase as still in use). Maintenance has been carried out by the local Volvo Penta main agents every season with invoices available, and recent more significant works include new engine start solenoids and alternators in 2023, and new turbos and exhaust elbows in 2020.

Cockpit lighting including additional low-level lights. Electrically operated hydraulic rams for engine compartment access.
