The Dehler 36SQ is a rare and wonderful thing to find on the market. There are not many cruiser/racers that offer the combination of fine performance with truly comfortable and well finished accommodation.
This Dehler 36SQ is the two cabin version, however there is a third cabin on the starboard side that may be utilised as a comfortable sleeping berth for one (or a cosy two) or a vast storage area. The owner's cabin to port is superb, with a high ceiling and a huge double berth. The high standard of finish, complete with the comforts of home, soon make you forget that you are on a high performance yacht.
"Zorra" is a one owner boat that has been lightly raced and predominantly cruised - the condition of her interior bears testament to that. A high level of equipment includes an extensive sail wardrobe, carbon spinnaker and assymetric poles, Webasto heating to all cabins, extensive Tacktick instrumentation, Raymarine autopilot and much more.

During winter 2003/4 Dan and I decided to buy a new yacht. We had every intention of continuing to enjoy both racing and cruising, and settled on the Dehler 36 because it satisfied both requirements being fast to handicap and having comfortable accommodation.
Zorra was ready just in time for the Round the Island Race 2004. The subsequent 4 or 5 years provided very enjoyable racing and really comfortable cruising during the summer months.
After first I and then Dan retired we gave up racing and concentrated on cruising. This provided long holidays which were great fun. We both particularly liked the French coast past l’Aber Wrac’h and further south as far as St Giles and Les Sables-d’Olonne. We never ceased to be grateful for Zorra’s performance in both light and heavy airs. In recent years we also sailed to the Isles of Scilly along the South Coast.
It is with reluctance that I am parting from Zorra.
