2003 Doubloon 3611m

I have sailed the yacht extensively.  It sails on the wind well and points high in Chanel seas and in strong winds I reef down for a more comfortable ride.  Off the wind it sails really well on white sails.  I haven’t used the spinnaker, in light airs it moves off briskly in the slightest of breeze. In strong winds we have logged 7.4 knots surfing down the backs of some waves.  In the winter the heater works well and we sailed and slept aboard comfortably with ice on the decks.  I highly commend this design and construction, it is responsive on the helm and exciting to sail while being a pleasure to look at.  The raised sky light gives extra headroom forward and makes that area well lit.  I hope the new owners enjoy it as much as I have.
