Additional Information

REFIT 2024/2025

ALL WORK DONE AT ROYAL VAN LENT SHIPYARD AMSTERDAM

Poised for adventure with a fresh new look and enhanced performance, Olympus has undergone an extensive refit for 2024/2025, combining elevated guest comfort with cutting-edge operational upgrades.

Interior Elegance

From the guest cabins to the galley, every detail has been thoughtfully refined to reflect comfort, functionality, and timeless sophistication. Newly reupholstered guest chairs complement the yacht’s aesthetic, while meticulous carpentry touch-ups continue to elevate the interior ambiance. Guest carpets and exterior cushions have been professionally deep-cleaned and restored, delivering a fresh, revitalized atmosphere throughout.

Luxurious touches such as gold-polished and replated door handles and updated Roman blinds—replaced in the master and lower guest cabins—further enhance the refined environment.

In the galley, a brand-new professional grade cooking range, including ovens, fryers, and hobs, ensures seamless culinary service. Updated dry store shelving has transformed storage efficiency, while new flooring creates a modern, cohesive flow between the galley and crew areas. Additional improvements include upgraded guest toilet accessories and a fully restored walk-in fridge and freezer system, both performing at peak reliability.

Deck Enhancements

On deck, Olympus has received a full exterior refresh. All cushions and covers have been replaced, tables and bars re-varnished and wrapped, and the Jacuzzi completely overhauled. Re-hung and adjusted exterior doors now operate with precision, and striking stainless steel, backlit Olympus nameboards have been added to both sides of the vessel—amplifying her visual presence.

Bridge & Navigational Upgrades

A comprehensive bridge refit has brought Olympus in line with modern navigational standards. The console has been re-engineered with a sleek new leather finish, and a full suite of advanced navigation equipment has been installed. All navigation lights were upgraded to energy-efficient LED systems, and both depth sounders were modernized to improve redundancy and safety.

Mechanical & Technical Systems

A major overhaul of onboard systems focused on performance and reliability. This includes a fully new HVAC system, with two new air handling units and 20 new fan coil units to ensure superior climate control. The power management and alarm monitoring systems were upgraded to a state-of-the-art Praxis setup. Additionally, fuel tank level sensors were modernized, and a new variable speed drive was installed for the bow thruster.

Operational Efficiency

Operational improvements include the complete overhaul and repainting of all three onboard cranes, which were removed and reinstalled for optimal performance. The anchor windlass electrical systems were upgraded, and new dual anchor shackles were fitted to enhance deep anchoring capabilities. Below deck, the lazarette has been redesigned for improved layout and functionality, supporting a more efficient crew operation and ultimately enriching the guest experience.
