Description
The external lines and the interior design of the motor yacht Admiral “Baby Boss” were curated by Architect “Paolo Caliari”, one of the founding fathers of contemporary yacht design as well as one of the greatest expressions of classic made in Italy.
The motor yacht “Baby Boss” has undergone significant interventions that have affected every single part of the vessel, from the systems to the engine and the interiors, involving the experience of master craftsmen to maintain the original design and the timeless classic elegance of the yacht. All this required a significant financial investment that allowed the pleasure boat to navigate the sea with greater comfort and safety.
The command stations of the bridge and the fly have been completely replaced with the latest generation control and navigation equipment. New security cameras also allow for monitoring the engine room and any intrusions.
The salon has regained its original splendor through the total restoration of the veneer and the complete refurbishment of the sofa and armchair coverings with fine fabrics. Murano glass lamps signed by Venini and paintings and sculptures by renowned artists complete the interior. The lighting has been completely redone using the most modern LED technology.
The dining room has been entirely revisited with the restoration of the original furnishings, employing master craftsmen to bring the veneer surfaces back to life. The large oval table comfortably accommodates 8 guests seated on dining armchairs by Cassina designed by Architect Mario Bellini. The lighting is complemented by Murano glass lamps signed by Venini. The room is also equipped with a smart TV and a video conferencing system.
The kitchen has been completely revised in its systems, and all appliances have been fully replaced, equipping it with a convection oven with 5 trays, new refrigerators and freezers, Bosch induction cooktop, professional ice maker Eureka, Eureka microwave, LG washer-dryer with 7kg capacity, and industrial dishwasher with two baskets Eureka. All this to meet the needs of the guests on board.
The accommodation areas are located on the lower deck, accessed via a comfortable staircase leading to 5 guest cabins, one owner's cabin, and four guest cabins that can comfortably accommodate two guests each for a maximum of 10 people. All cabins are equipped with smart TVs, digital DAB radios, and telephones for communication in every area of the boat. A powerful Wi-Fi network allows for online connectivity, both in port and while sailing, with any type of device.
The spacious owner's cabin has also undergone restoration and refurbishment of the veneer coverings, and the bed and armchair coverings have been completely redone. Electrical systems and lighting have been entirely revised, with lighting provided by fully LED light fixtures, and the wall sconces are made of Murano glass signed by Venini, while the comfortable bathroom has seen total interventions on the washing and drainage systems of the toilets with complete replacement of the sanitary fixtures.
The guest cabins have also been completely redone, addressing the veneer coverings, electrical systems, and lighting, which has been entirely revised with the replacement of all light fixtures. The comfortable bathroom present in each cabin has undergone interventions on the washing and drainage systems of the toilets with complete replacement of the sanitary fixtures. All cabins are equipped with ample compartments and wardrobes for storing luggage and clothing for long cruises.
The aft cockpit has a significant walkable surface on which two extendable tables are arranged with “L” shaped sofas that can extend to comfortably accommodate 8/12 people. The deck is completely illuminated by courtesy lights, and the cockpit features LED spotlights and Murano glass lamps signed by Venini. The deck has been completely restored, bringing the teak essence back to life.
At the bow of the boat, there are two sunbathing areas, one for four people, and one located on the upper part of the cabin top that can comfortably accommodate six people.
The fly has an area of 40 square meters on which a large L-shaped sofa with sunbathing area is arranged, comfortably accommodating 9 guests.
The engine room has been fitted with new Caterpillar C32 Acert Tier3 engines with 1920 Hp, of the latest generation, certified for low emissions in compliance with EPA Tier 3, IMOII, and EU IW standards. The installation required a complete overhaul of the exhaust systems for the combustion gases, including the risers, as well as the new minimum gas exhaust line. The fuel line that feeds the engines has also been entirely revised. The engine room has also undergone a complete replacement of the insulation, making it even safer against fire, heat, and noise.
The propulsion consists of two ZF BW 465 gearboxes, fully overhauled by ZF, and the two cardan transmissions have undergone non-destructive magnetic testing and were subsequently overhauled with the complete replacement of the 4 universal joints and subsequent balancing on the bench.
The motor yacht has been equipped with new Kohler 28 kW generators of the latest generation, extremely quiet, located in the aft compartment. A new super-silent compressor unit has also been installed for various uses. The desalination unit has been replaced with a Watermakers model capable of producing 260 liters/hour of fresh water and can be controlled directly from the command bridge via the Raymarine navigation system interface. New refrigeration compressor units have been placed in the engine room.
All onboard systems have been completely revised with the replacement of all service pumps by Gianneschi and Ramacciotti.
