She was de-rigged and motorised during her working life, with the addition of an engine and wheelhouse. She was also lengthened to increase cargo-carrying capacity. While in trade, she carried a variety of loose cargo such as grain, potatoes and gravel. Her last commercial voyage was in the 1970s.
