Description
A go-anywhere 2004 Forna 37 steel sloop by Van de Stadt. Two double cabins and large saloon. She has had her underwater hull blasted and re-painted this season. Built by Pip (Yacht Building) Ltd of Sussex, England to a Van de Stadt design.
Constructed in steel with a round bilge. Longitudinal and transverse frames with steel bulkheads. Steel deck with internal steel framing and the hull deck joint is welded.
Last survey date Oct. 2018. Deck is covered in Tek-Dek synthetic teak. Engine
Beta Marine BV1505 37.5 HP with 4 cylinders. Fresh water cooled for longevity, and non-turbocharged - easy to maintain. Engine hours not currently known but about 1100.  Fitted with Halyard HMI Exhaust Alert and sea strainer alarm.
PRM 120 2:1 gearbox, stainless steel shaft, cutlass bearing, stern gland (deep sea seal type), P bracket and three bladed fixed propeller.

As expected from the Van de Stadt team she has a well-designed interior.
The owner's cabin is forward with its own hand basin area and a large combined cupboard and wardrobe.
The particularly large saloon area has good galley and chart table, with plenty of seating. Plastimo Neptune 2500 gas cooker. Double galley sink has addition manual seawater pump. Frigomatic fridge.
All the areas that you enter in wet-weather gear are clustered around the companionway.
Heads with shower and wardrobe for wet-weather gear.
A cabin with a double berth aft, equivalent to the owner's cabin forward.
On starboard and aft there is ample storage space with large hatches, allowing good stowage for longer trips.
Good sized and comfortable cockpit with good access past the steering wheel
