The Taswell 43 is a well built offshore cruiser, designed by Bill Dixon and built by the renowned Ta Shing yard. The accommodation below decks is spacious and comfortable with a magnificent owner's stateroom aft and two further double guest cabins forward. Whilst finished to a high standard and well equipped for bluewater sailing, the sensible asking price reflects the need for some upgrading of equipment and cosmetic refurbishment. Additional Comments
A well built boat with beautiful interior joinery, obviously well loved and maintained, but nevertheless has now reached that stage in its life when there is money to be spent on some upgrading and cosmetic refurbishment. Specifically, the standing rigging needs renewing, the sails are showing their age, electronics whilst functional have definitely reached middle age and inside the headlinings need a birthday in places and some of the soleboards need re-varnishing. The engine (less than 2000 hours) and genset look very good; topside paint and Coppercoat antifouling system date from 2015. The teak deck is generally in good condition with only a couple of minor repairs needed. There is no sprayhood as the previous owner had fitted a practical, but rather unattractive, GRP dodger which has now been removed. The sensible asking price fully reflects her present condition.
