The Sadler 26 has an unsinkable hull, an important safety factor, a traditional and practical layout finished to a high standard and full standing headroom. These ever popular cruisers have brisk, well mannered performance and are well proven sea boats. This example is one of the later ones and has has only one owner from new. The layout is well finished with reasonable headroom in the saloon and offers six berths in two cabins. V berth forward with stowage under. Opening hatch to foredeck. Full width heads compartment with marine toilet and hanging locker opposite. In saloon, dinette to port, converting to double berth, with settee berth opposite. Quarter berth to port with galley opposite and pull out chart table. Two burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven. Stainless steel sink with cold manual supply. 10 gallons freshwater capacity. Cool box. Grey/blue fabric upholstery.
Located under companionway. 1989, Volvo Penta 2001R marine diesel engine. Hours unknown. Single cylinder, 8hp. Sea water cooled. Shaft drive to two blade fixed propeller. 10 gallons fuel capacity in stainless steel tank. Approx 4.5 knots cruising and 6 knots maximum speed under engine. Cutlass bearing changed in 2018, inboard shaft bearing changed in 2017. Two 12V batteries in two banks, both 2019, charging via engine alternator.

Built in 1989 by Sadler International to a design by David Sadler. Hull number 203. White GRP hull with style stripes. HULL EPOXIED IN 2019. Teak rubbing strakes. White GRP superstructure with light grey moulded non-slip to decks. Twin cast iron keels (blasted and epoxied in 2010). Transom and skeg hung rudder. Tiller steering. Aft self draining cockpit. The twin skin hull construction makes the Sadler 26 unsinkable and provides good thermal and acoustic insulation.
