The Moody 31 MKII is fast becoming a classic family cruising yacht thanks to their comfortable accommodation, good all-round performance and sugar scoop stern and wheel steering. Sourire is an extremely good example of her kind, having been very well cared for from new. Six berths in three cabins with two double berths outside of the saloon with approximately 6' 2" maximum headroom. V berth forward with infill to convert to a double berth, seat and good storage. Saloon with settee berths either side of the table with useful stowage in various lockers and cupboards. Galley aft to starboard consisting of a Plastimo Neptune 2000 two-burner gas cooker with grill and oven, top loading fridge, stainless steel sink and storage. Separate heads compartment aft to port with Jabsco marine toilet, wash basin, shower and opening portlight. Double aft cabin to starboard with storage and portlight. Pressurised hot and cold water supply via a calorifier (engine cooling water). Teak and holly saloon floor with grey carpets to fore and aft cabins with complimenting curtains. 
Mechanical Systems
Located under companionway in vented and sound proofed compartment. 1988 Volvo Penta 2003, 28 hp, three cylinder diesel engine, with electric start and reduction gearbox with reverse gear. Shaft drive via P-bracket to fixed two blade propeller. Single lever engine controls. Approx. 20 gallons fuel capacity.
The engine appears in excellent cosmetic condition has been serviced annually by her experienced owners. Last service spring 2019. 
Electrical Systems
2 x 12 volt batteries charging from engine alternator and Dolphin 20 amp battery charger. 240v ring main.
Sails and Spars
Masthead bermudan sloop rig. Silver anodised aluminium mast and boom by Kemp. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2005). Terylene running rigging led aft to cockpit. Slab reefing to mainsail with stackpack system. Furling system for headsail. 2 x Lewmar 30 self-tailing sheet winches. 2 x Lewmar 7 halyard winches on the mast. Single Lewmar 6 reefing winch on the mast. Fully battened mainsail - good Genoa - fair Cruising chute with sock - Gowens - as new No.1 Genoa - good

Wheel steering to skeg hung rudder. Self draining cockpit and anchor well. Alloy toe rails. Stainless steel rails and guard wires. Sugar scoop type transom.
