Manufacturer Provided Description
The Sun Odyssey 40 DS is the first Jeanneau sailboat to be equipped with a revolutionary deck saloon. With living accommodations comparable to those of much bigger yachts, the interior of the 40 DS, with its panoramic view, brings an exciting dimension to cruising sailboats. The minimal drop from the cockpit to the saloon makes life onboard easy. The helm station forward, to starboard, is protected by the dodger and is close to the companionway, freeing up the cockpit for more comfortable sailing or anchoring. The moveable bench seat to port allows easy access to the transom. To starboard, the cockpit table turns into a sun deck. In the brightly lit and voluminous interior, the beauty and the detail of the woodworking relate perfectly to the quality of the furnishings. The Sun Odyssey 40 DS comes with two spacious and comfortable cabins.
