About

Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 36i - 2006 - £59,950

A well specified example of the hugely popular Sun Odyssey 36i. Arguably the most successful Jeanneau model of her build period, the hull is shaped by Marc Lombard ensuring a good blend of performance and comfort. This example has the 'teak' style finish to the interior woodwork and a versatile double aft cabin (three sleeping cabins outside the saloon) layout. The saloon is stylishly finished with nicely toning cream leather-style saloon seating and she was fitted out with good 'comfort' and 'instrumentation' packages that combine well with the performance and efficiency of the deck gear fitted.
Accommodation
Spacious accommodation offering six berths in three double cabins plus the saloon table's conversion kit that enables use of the amidship berths/seating - for night passage making. Fitted with cream leatherette upholstery in the saloon.

Forward cabin: with a double v-shaped berth, a hanging locker to port and a shelved locker to starboard. Two cave/boot lockers at sole level and a deeply fiddled shelf to the hull sides. Light and ventilation by overhead hatch, fitted with integrally mounted blind.
Saloon: with 'C' shaped seating to starboard and the optional table conversion to be able to use the table as a 'double' berth. A straight settee/berth opposite, with independent seat for a navigator to sit at the chart table, facing forward. Two, fixed hull ports provide dancing reflections and good light values in conjunction with a centre-line, overhead hatch again with an integral diffuser and blind.

Chart table to port: with the navigators seat immediately forward of the heads compartment, this table is carried on a rail so it can be used forward facing, or indeed, simply with the navigator facing aft. The master 12V DC distribution panel is fitted outboard, incorporating an LCD multi-function tank content level and voltmeter display, 12V DC socket. A 220-240V AC socket and the entertainment radio/CD player is also fitted in this area.

Galley: Provided with a relatively large expanse of workable surface and two large front opening lockers, this galley also offers a relatively big refrigerator (efficiently top-opening). A two burner gas stove, fitted with an oven is fitted. The twin sinks are fitted with a mixer tap and a pressurised water supply of course and cutlery/stowage drawers and refuse bin are hidden within the under-sinks locker.

Heads Compartment: with Jabsco marine-flushing toilet and holding tank, washbasin with shower faucet and sump within the sole. An opening portlight fitted within the coachroof combines with an overhead hatch to give good ventilation and light levels. A hot air outlet is also fitted to encourage the compartment's drying after use.

Aft Cabins: Two double aft cabins mirror each other each with a hanging locker, cave locker at sole level and deeply fiddled side shelves. Opening portlights to the cockpit's well are supplemented by overhead hatches that incorporate sliding blinds. Heating by Webasto diesel fired, hot-air heater unit to all cabins.
A CD/radio is fitted with internal speakers in the main saloon, with waterproof cockpit speakers also fitted.
Curtains are fitted to the windows, and blinds to the hatches throughout.
Max. headroom 6ft 4ins.
