The Swift Trawler 42 launched a new breed of passagemakers with the ability to travel at a rapid pace in subleme comfort while carrying a crew in seas that many typical cruisers would find too challenging.
This Trawler Yacht has upper and lower steering stations, a very good aft cockpit, generous saloon with adjoining galley, a large master stateroom with queen-sized berth and ensuite head and a great guest cabin.
The interior is finished out in the beautiful joinery work that is a hallmark of Beneteau, and her systems are well engineered throughout. A true yacht-like flavour is evident throughout.
Above all of this it is her performance at sea which will impress and make the final decision to buy her an easy one.
The yacht has a large spacious double owners cabin forward with queen-sized bed and a toilet and shower ensuite. There is adequate locker space for live aboard cruising including a large hanging locker to starboard.
Moving aft there is access to the day head to port and guest cabin to starboard. The day head, which is an "easy to clean" moulding has an electric toilet, shower and wash basin whereas the guest cabin is fitted with a good sized double bed and locker space.
The pilot house is next with the galley to port and helm area to starboard. Access to the wide side decks is made through two sliding doors, port and starboard, which is particularly helpful when berthing the boat shorthanded and the helmsman has a quick gateway to help with the lines.
The galley is fitted with a gas three burner hob and oven, 180 ltr 12V electric refrigerator, microwave and double sinks.
The main saloon has a seating area to starboard and a dining table which is not fixed to the floor but does have an adjustable leg. This saloon seating area can also be converted into a double berth using the fill in piece which is stowed outboard the seating area. There is an abundance of locker space and a flat screen TV on the port side opposite the seating. Access to the cockpit is through two glass sliding doors. There are blinds on the saloon windows and curtains for the sliding doors.
