Westerly Berwick 31 is a 6/7 berth bilge keel family cruiser. The long waterline length gives her a good turn of speed while the transom stem provides a roomy and safe cockpit. She sails well and copes with rough conditions with ease.The raised coach roof increases the volume in the boat allowing full standing headroom right up till the forward cabin.
Her bilge keel gives her the facility to dry out when required, this offers cheap moorings and storage ashore.

This is a boat that has been well maintained. i.e She is largely in good repair, but some extra TLC would not go amiss. I prefer this cabin layout with the galley close to the entrance rather than the other version that has the galley close to the heads. Re-covering the upholstery would go a long way to bringing her up to date. The 2005 replaced engine looks in extremely good condition. She also has a handy Mast Lowering/lifting System. The present very tall owner definitely chose her for the headroom, both inside and in the cockpit. Her tan sails make her a little unique!
