Super value; this Nantucket Clipper has its original interior layout, with 5 berths, the dinette to port leaving a walkway to the forward cabin or the heads. The forward cabin has a V berth and there is a quarterberth near the companionway to starboard and a hanging locker on the port side of the companionway. The dinette converts to a double bed if required. Below decks woodwork has teak trims and facings. There is a gimballed cooker to starboard and a sink that can be completely covered to make more workspace. A chart table folds out into a position above the quarterberth, lending significant additional working space to the galley. The main boom has been modernised with provision for slab reefing of the sail, while a removable boom crutch also provides adidtional and convenient handholds. There is hardwood in abundance on deck in addition to the individual boom crutch, with teak cockpit coamings and seats and a teak bowsprit and toe rail. This is the Mark II version of the yacht. It has cutaway forefoot and spade rudder to improve manouverability, and of course retains the trademark clipper bow. This yacht has a roller reefing system on foresail, and single additional staysail which is hanked on type for a detachable inner forestay. In addition there are three spinnakers and an alloy spinnaker pole. Priced to sell and not with just one recent survey, but TWO independent opinions!
