Remarks :
The Moody 40 was built based on the 1976 Moody 39 designed by Angus Primrose. it has a larger aft cabin and a different cockpit layout, they were manufactured until 1981.

1979 Moody 40 CC 'Lena Mary' is one of only 56 made, she has a sloop rig, and a fin keel. The comfortable accommodation has a forecabin with 2 separate  berths that can be converted into a double, a guest cabin with 2 fixed single berths, one above the other, a dressing table, locker and hanging space. The aft cabin has a large double berth, dressing table and storage, the ensuite heads has been converted to a store room with the ability to reconvert if required.   There is a  forward head with a marine toilet, hot and cold water and a shower. The saloon has a 'U' shaped dinette, with large storage lockers. The galley area is spacious and well laid out.

Surveyed September 2010, issues raised and resolved, which included standing rigging replaced 2011, sails replaced 2010, batteries replaced 2014, gas cooker replaced 2011.
