Malo - 36
We have sold several of these fine cruising yachts and are very pleased to have another well-cared for and well equipped example of the Malo 36 for sale. With her sweet sheer line, medium displacement and well thought-out deck, the Malo 36 has all the hallmarks of a purposeful cruising yacht. Practical detailing and superior Swedish craftsmanship merge to give her a striking appearance and she feels large for a 36ft yacht. Victrix of Harwich was purchased from new by her current owners in 2004 in Poole UK. She has since enjoyed cruising in the Baltic and has been professionally maintained and overwintered in a heated shed for eight months in each of the last nine years. Located in Orust Sweden she is ideally placed to begin another Baltic cruise or she could be sailed/delivered back to the UK with relative ease. There are many optional extras that have been added to this beautiful looking yacht and full details of her extensive inventory are in the main specification, but her highlights include: UK Syversen mainsail with vertical battens and Harken furling gear Uk Syversen 110% jib with Harken furling gear Single line reefing system Selden mast, boom and rod kicker Isolated backstay All lines, including topping lift, led aft to cockpit Four Andersen winches: 2x12ST, 1x46ST, 1x28ST electric furling 2 Andersen halyard winches on mast Electric anchor winch with hand held control Sleipner 6HP ‘Duo prop’ Bow Thruster Folding 3 bladed propellor Raymarine radar/plotter C80 plus C120 chart plotter on bridge deck in cockpit AIS Receiver SR162 Echopilot Wreckfinder (Forward looking echo sounder) 3x 115 Ah Domestic batteries (replaced 2015) 1 x 75 Ah dedicated engine battery with isolating switch Deck connection for solar panel and regulator Avon 10’ inflatable Lying Orust Sweden Available to view strictly by appointment For more information or to arrange a viewing please contact John Rodriguez Yachts Please note all our yachts are privately owned and actively for sale. Having been professionally maintained and overwintered in a heated shed for eight months in each of the last nine years, she is in excellent condition. She is a perfect cruiser/bluewater boat and has been sailed extensively in the Baltic by her two owners. Victrix has many optional extras, as specified in her inventory, which enable easy and safe handling even for shorthanded sailors. She has a large, deep cockpit and all lines are led aft. The TARGA supports the mainsheet track and the fixed windscreen and canopy give protection from the elements. In harbour or at anchor the full cockpit canopy with clear panels enables living outdoors even in poor weather. Her well-appointed interior makes for very comfortable living conditions whether in harbour or at sea. Victrix is a thoroughbred boat and with her host of extras she is ready to be sailed away.
