LM - 30

The LM30 is classed as a motorsailer, however this could be seen as slightly unfair as they are genuinely good sailing boats. The LM30 has the added benefit of an inside steering position in the wheel-house as well as in the sheltered cockpit. The cabin, as with most Scandinavian built boats, is finished to a very high standard and still looks excellent today.

AMALIE is a fin keeled version (1.5m draft) and has been very well maintained by the current owner, she has been copper-coated and had new standing rigging in 2014 including new Genoa furling gear by Furlex. She comes with a strong inventory including cabin heating, a bow thruster and much more. She also benefits from a full condition survey in February 2015.

The cockpit has a completely enclosed tent giving superb shelter and acts as an excellent extension to the wheel-house and even gives two extra berths when the temperatures allow it. It also has a very clever fold down cockpit table which enables about 6 people to sit around it comfortably.

Upon entering the cabin you first step foot into the light and spacious wheel-house with a raised helm position and chart station to starboard with access to the instruments. There are two seats for both the helmsman and the navigator (which slides out).

To port (still located within the wheel house) is the galley with a Plastimo Neptune cooker/grill/hob, a stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurised water, a Waeco fridge and considerable storage space.

Forward and into the main saloon with a table, an L-shaped settee to starboard, this converts into a double berth, and an additional settee/berth to port.  Forward through a concertina-styled door to the heads with a sea toilet, a sliding basin and hot/cold pressurised water. Situated adjacent to the heads on the port side is a hanging locker.

Forward again to the forepeak with a large double 'V' berth and storage in the way of cave lockers. There are 5 berths in total throughout two cabins.

AMALIE benefits from plenty of storage throughout, central heating with 3 outlets and the finish is to a very high standard as we have come to expect from Scandinavian built yachts.
