Built by world famous builders McConaghy Boats in China. Baraka GP is made from infused E Glass with a closed cell foam core, which means a hugely strong, yet lightweight construction has been achieved.
All the building techniques are done under vacuum consolidation, with areas of reinforcement in the highly loaded areas, allowing for the weight to be very carefully monitored throughout the build.
With a hugely experienced owner involved from the start, the boat was equipped with a very sought after specification to allow the boat to be sailed to its full potential and with consideration for inshore and offshore sailing in mind.
Ker Yacht Design have focused on two key areas throughout the build, namely performance and practicality. Everything has been designed with a purpose and this is one of the reasons why the results have been so good throughout the designs 4 year existence. The Ker 40 has been winning regattas under a variety of rating systems and shows no signs on slowing down yet.Machinery
