Hallberg-Rassy - 31

MORNING SONG is a fractionally rigged sloop with a round bilged displacement, lead bulbed fin keel and hung semi balanced spade rudder with wheel steering. The Hallberg-Rassy 31 is a well-respected and proven cruiser remaining in production for some 16 years before finally being replaced in 2009 by the HR 310. Interior finished in selected mahogany with two component matt silk varnish. Well positioned lighting. Blue upholstery, cream curtains to the side windows, and under the skylights. The floor is varnished teak covered by grey carpet.  Webasto cabin heating with warm air outlets throughout the boat.

Two sofas, two metres long with optional pilot berths above and a sturdy table with bottle stowage in centre section. Lockers with louvred doors over the sofas and stowage under. Galley with drawers and cutting board, white working surfaces. Cooker with 2 burner hob and oven. Openable window above. Extra deep double sink with hot and cold pressurised fresh water. Insulated ice box with 12v Frigomatic refrigeration unit and Danfoss compressor. On the opposite side a generous chart table with seat and stowage under. White roof accentuated with fore and aft mahogany stripes. Headroom 1.86 m in the saloon. Inspection opening for the bilge.

Two berths, 2.12 m long. Generous stowage above and below. Door to the saloon. Infill cushion.

Double berth, 2.25 m long where it is longest and 1.62 m wide as widest. Generous wardrobe. Shelf over the berth. Two opening windows. Door to the saloon.

Bulkheads and cupboards in white laminate. Built-in shower stall with teak grating. Electric shower waste pump. Robust pump toilet with stainless steel holding tank. Stowage over and under the china basin. Hot and cold pressurised water for shower. Mirror. Ventilation through opening window.
