In 2012 I sailed her round UK routing clockwise up the Irish Sea and through the Caledonian Canal, calling at 29 harbours and logging 1,900 nm. During this time she had functioned splendidly and took care of me in all weathers. Now being 68 years old I feel I would like to see her in the hands of a new, enthusiastic and more youthful owner. “Lucinda” has been absolute pleasure to own, she is the most attractive of vessels, sea kindly and a delight to sail. Always stored ashore during the winter months and during my ownership over £40K has been spent on improvements/updates. HISTORY/Improvements: Full marine survey carried out by David Cox prior to purchase in May 2006 ALL works recommended were undertaken, ALL the invoices are held on file. Engine winterised each year New starter motor fitted 2012 New engine mounts + cutlass bearing 2006/7 Engine lifted out for full survey/re-spray 2013/14 + paint bilges Sea cocks serviced New fresh water tanks and pipework 2012. Sails laundered, valeted and stored ashore each year. Mast and spars were sanded back to bare wood with 4 coats of Cetol applied. 2008/2009 Disclaimer: Whilst every care has been taken in the preparation of these details their accuracy is not guaranteed and they are intended as a guide only and do not constitute a contract. A prospective buyer is strongly advised to employ a qualified Marine surveyor to carry out a survey of the vessel which should include an engine assessment where appropriate.
