Cheoy Lee - Offshore 47
This Cheoy Lee Luders Offshore 47 Cruising Yacht was designed & built by Cheoy Lee in 1979 & had a complete refit in 1993. In our opinion, she is in good condition, has been well maintained & is a well built and very solidly constructed boat that offers good amounts of space and accommodation. She is ideal for Blue Water Cruising but will be equally at home in UK waters. Down below, she has two double cabins & convertible saloon giving 5 berths, 2 heads, a good sized galley & spacious saloon. On deck, she has a good sized cockpit with wheel steering & binnacle with electronics & bow thruster controls. She has a single spreader keel stepped mast with a slab reefing boom & a comprehensive sail wardrobe. Well equipped & well maintained, this Offshore 47 offers comfortable cruising & great value She is currently lying Southampton Main Specifications Stock Number : ABS 1202 Year of Build : 1979 LOA : 47’0” ( incl Bowsprit) Beam : 12’2” Draft : 7’0” Keel Type : Centreboard Displacement : 12,000 Kgs Engine : Perkins 4326 – 4 Cylinder 85 HP (1994) Fuel Tank : 84 Gallons Water Tanks : 175 Gallons No of Berths : 5 VHF : Icom – IC-M505 DSC Radar / Plotter : Furuno Navnet VX2 Radar / Chartplotter GPS : 2 x Furuno GPS Speed Depth / Log: Brooks & Gatehouse Hydra System with Cockpit Repeater Auto Pilot : Simrad Autopilot Main Features Mechanical and electrical 85hp Perkins 4236 4 cylinder diesel engine (1994) with full instrumentation and Morse single lever control Numerous engine spares including starter motor Bruntons Autoprop feathering propeller Spare 3 bladed fixed propeller Propeller shaft brake Bow thruster with separate 12 volt battery Cable wheel steering with emergency tiller 12 volt electrical system with 108 AH engine start battery, 800 AH domestic bank (8 x 6 volt linked batteries) and battery state monitor 110 volt shore supply with cabin sockets and Heart battery charger / inverter 240 volt shore supply with chart table sockets and Dolphin 80 amp battery charger Ideal electric anchor windlass with chain gypsy, rope capstan and cover Pressurised hot and cold fresh water system with cockpit shower Sea water anchor / deck wash with hose Electric bilge pump with bilge alarm Deck flood lights (2) 12 volt fan in aft cabin TV and video player Sony stereo radio / CD player with 10 disc stacking system and speaker selection control Spars and Sails  White single spreader keel stepped mast and slab reefing boom Spinnaker pole stowed vertically on mast S/s standing rigging with Norseman / NZ terminals and twin grove North genoa furling / reefing system Boom brake Lewmar 550ST primary winches and 44ST secondary winches (2 each) Barient 25 mainsheet winch Lewmar 42 2-speed halyard winches on mast and 16ST single speed reef line winch on mast Crusader mainsail cover / stacking system with lazy jacks Crusader hydranet sail wardrobe includes 110% roller genoa, full batten mainsail, staysail & cruising chute with snuffer Selection of older sails Navigation equipment Furuno Navnet VX2 radar / chartplotter with scanner mounted on backstay Scanstrut Furuno GPS (2) Furuno AIS transponder Icom IC-M505 DSC VHF radio Sea 222 SSB radio with A type tuner and insulated backstay Brooks and Gatehouse Hydra system (Speed / distance log, depthsounder and wind instruments) with cockpit repeater Simrad autopilot Sailormat wind vane self-steering system with spare blade 8 day clock and barometer Ritchie pedestal mounted compass with cover Overhead compass in aft cabin Navigation lights including anchor, steaming and red night light at chart table. In addition to the installation of a larger Perkins diesel engine and tanks, an extensive range of cruising equipment was fitted. The present owner has spared no expense on a programme of upgrades and maintenance including peeling and coating the hull with West System epoxy. A very attractive and fast blue water cruiser with classic lines. This Cheoy Lee Luders Offshore 47 is currently lying ashore in Southampton and is available for viewings through Aspire Boat Sales at any time
