With her shallow draft the Barbican 33 allows cruising in shoal waters or coastal hopping with fantastic performance, she has the added bonus of a steel centreboard which increases the draft to 8 feet and offers even better windward performance.<br />The Thornycroft 28hp diesel engine gives plenty of power, so she motors at good speeds, the engine had a complete overhaul in 2001 by a professional marine mechanic and is in excellent condition.<br /> This Barbican 33 is equipped and ready to sail, she has a cavernous feel below deck and has fantastic stowage throughout.
