Mikki Finn is a racing yacht which is a true cruiser racer, with no compromise made. Fast round the cans and comfortably equipped for cruising.
She is currently moored on a Holyhead Sailing Club mooring. This is available at no charge to a new owner until the end of the season, if club membership is taken out.
This Finnfire 33 was designed by Elvin Still, built in 1977 and exhibited at the London boat show.
She comes fully equipped for racing or extended cruising with a comprehensive inventory. She has been well maintained and has undergone a process of continuous upgrading and improvement in her present ownership. She is a fast comfortable cruiser /racer with an impeccable racing pedigree. Mikki Finn is a previous winner of the Round Anglesey Race.
A test sail from Holyhead marina can be arranged weather permitting.
The original engine was replaced in 2005 by a Volvo Penta 20/20 indirect cooled unit. The engine enjoys good access as does the sail drive unit and has been well maintained since installation in 2005. There are two domestic batteries plus an engine battery all charged through a smart charging system and an inverter for shore power. A wind turbine is also provided.
The hull has been epoxy treated and her Tack tick instrumentation is state of the art.
There are a total of 5 berths in two cabins, a separate heads compartment and well equipped galley . The saloon has a large drop leaf table and a navigation table.
On deck there are a total of ten winches. The standing rigging was last inspected in 2014.
There is a storage cradle for the boat, which is available as a separate item by negotiation. The boat is currently on a mooring at Holyhead, which could be transferred on the sale of the boat.
