The Colvic UFO 27 class of cruiser racers was designed by Holman and Pye. They are recognised as equally at home dashing round the cans or going for a leisurely cruise.
Lazybones was built in 1983 by Colvic Yachts of Witham. She is in excellent condition having been well maintained and lightly used.
Lazybones is presented in excellent condition and is ready to go. The present owner has completely replaced the electronics and installed a wind turbine. He has had her surveyed prior to offering her for sale and this survey, dated April 2015, is available for serious enquirers.
The accommodation comprises a total of 5 berths in 2 cabins. There are two berths in the forecabin, which has an infill, and which is separated from the rest of the boat by a zipped door. There are two settee berths in the saloon and a quarter berth situated on the starboard site aft of the navigation table.
The separate heads compartment, enclosed by zipped doors, is equipped with a sea toilet and a washbasin which slides away when not in use.
The compact galley is equipped with a 2 burner gas cooker with grill.
The present owner has made a table which can be erected in the saloon when required. Placed at a lower position it creates a double berth in the saloon in place of the two singles.
All navigation equipment is new as is the wind generator.
A launching cradle is included in the sale.
