By the end of 2012 nearly 700 had been built! She has been through very few revisions since her launch in the late 1990s, most of these minor and cosmetic, which is a great credit to her design. The wide transoms provide space below and a smooth ride with remarkably little pitching. She has the solid, confident feel at the helm you would typically expect of much larger catamarans.

She can be built in a choice of three or four double cabins, with generous beds and full standing headroom throughout. The Owner version has a huge private heads compartment with a separate shower stall.

Resale demand is the envy of the industry so if you have a used one to sell, please let us know!

Manageable enough for weekend pottering yet tough and spacious enough to cruise the oceans - the 380 has it all.

Click here to see the Lagoon 380 Video and much more

Inventory
This example yacht has been equipped to the ESSENTIAL specification, which includes:

Deck floodlight on mast
22v shore power surcuit with 40 Amp charger
Engine battery safety coupling
Radio/CD/MP3 player with two saloon speakers
Two waterproof cockpit speakers
Raymarine Navigation Pack 2013, comprising:
Hydraulic linear drive autopilot, two I70 multi repeaters, GPS receiver, anenometer, course computer and Seatalk connectors
Stainless steel davits (150kg)
12v fans in cabins and saloon
Bridge
LAGOON 380 EXAMPLE SPECIFICATION

Designed by Marc Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot Prevost
Built by Lagoon, France

L.O.A. 37'11" / 11.55m
BEAM 21'5" / 6.57m
DRAUGHT 3'9" / 1.15m
DISPLACEMENT (LIGHT EEC) 16005lb / 7260 kg
SAIL AREA (MAIN AND GENOA) 829 sq.ft. / 68' / 20.73m

CONSTRUCTION :
White GRP hull and deck
Vinylester resin in outer hull laminate
Foam sandwich hull construction
Balsa core deck and nacelle construction
Solid GRP below waterline
Spade rudders
Wheel steering with cable linkage
GRP long keels (part of hull moulding)
Boarding steps moulded into hull sides
Helm station with twin seat to port of main saloon door
Vertical saloon windows, sliding saloon door and sliding galley window, all in new pale grey acrylic

Machinery
2 x Yanmar 20hp diesel engines (optional 2 x 30hp)
2 x 110 litre diesel tanks
Twin engine panels and throttles

12v switch panel with LCD tank and battery meter
220V switch and voltmeter

Water and waste:
300L fresh water tank
Hot and cold pressurised water system
Waste holding tank

Rig
49' / 15m anodised aluminium mast mainsail track and luff cars
Single spreaders
Anodised aluminium boom
2 self tailing winches at helm station
Optional starboard gennaker winch
Double purchase main halyard
Genoa halyard
Topping lift
Genoa furling line
Optional gennaker pole and rig
Line jammers
Lazy jacks
Optional lazy bag in blue with zip closure

Mainsail area (fully battened) 506 sq. ft. / 47 sq.m.
Larger square top mainsail now available as an option
Furling genoa area 323 sq. ft. / 30 sq.m. with UV protective strip
Gennaker (optional) 742 sq.ft / 69 sq.m.

Mainsail with 2 single line reefs

Accommodation
3 cabin layout has owner cabin running the entire length of the starboard hull, with large head and shower compartment forward.
Port hull has two double cabins with head/shower compartment amidships
Aft cabins have 1.85m / 6'1" headroom and 2m/6'7" x 1.6m berths.
Forward cabin has 6'7" headroom and berth 2m/6'7" x 1.56m/5'1" tapering to 1.04m/4'5"
4 cabin layout also available, with port hull arrangement mirrored on starboard side.
Large one-way view windows in all cabins
Hatch and opening port in each cabin, providing excellent ventilation

Aft facing galley with double drainer and sliding window to cockpit
150 litre 12v fridge

Wide saloon with curved settee forward and padded bench with stowage under.
Vertical windows with two large opening ports
Navigation table in port side in saloon with instrument console and stool
3 burner gas hob and oven

Plenty of stowage space in galley, cabins and deck compartments

Standard wood colour is light oak Alpi with dark brown flooring.
Standard upholstery is "Shark Brown" (grey/beige) woven cloth
