Mochi Craft Dolphin 64 Cruiser Project. The planing line range evolves. Following the wake of the flagship 74' Cruiser. Mochi Craft present the Dolphin 64 Cruiser. The new project features larger volumes and major changes to the interiors, adding a modern flair to the unique style of Mochi Craft lobster boats.
The Mochi Craft Dolphin '64 Cruiser matches the harmonious, high performing shape of the hull, left unchanged compared to the previous version, featuring the traditional aquamarine colour (other pastel colours optional), with the typical marine taste for interiors, where fine teak wood blends with innovative decorative and design solutions, giving to this new project a contemporary touch of elegance. As usual, the details on board are extremely accurate, from the main deck gunwales and handrails in solid teak with natural finish, to the typical craftsmanship of bitts, milled from a single steel block, carved with the dolphin, the symbol of the shipyard.
The most impressive aesthetic feature of the Mochi Craft Dolphin 64 Cruiser is the increased volume of the superstructure, which provides larger spaces on board. The wide flybridge is the distinguishing feature of the outer look, in perfect harmony with the elegant lines of the craft. It stretches towards the stern, just like in the 74&#39; Cruiser, and covers the cockpit. On the main deck, the increase of internal volumes is further increased by the natural light coming in from the wide side and front windows, allowing the Captain to enjoy a privileged view while handling the yacht and featuring an impressive outer view for the guests. Light is also the protagonist underdeck, thank to the wide and typical glazing on the hull, corresponding to the Owner and to the vip fore cabins.
The wide cockpit, covered by the tail of the flybridge, is the main access to the new Dolphin 64 Cruiser. As in traditional lobster boats - which were first designed for fishing lobsters - this area features very large spaces, ideal for relaxing with the guests.
The saloon is wisely separated into living, dining and steering area. The galley is a completely separated area, which can be accessed through a sliding glass door, both from the outside, thanks to a door along the starboard wall, and from the lower deck crew area. This solution allows separating completely the flows of the Owner, with his guests, from those of the crew.
On the lower deck, the Dolphin 64 Cruiser features a three cabin layout, with three bathrooms. It features wisely reorganised spaces, compared to the previous model, with a particular attention for the Owner area. The master cabin is located amidships, with the utmost privacy, guaranteeing maximum comfort, stability and soundproofing. The Owner&#39;s cabin features a diagonally positioned bed, a large walk-in wardrobe and a luxurious three-area bathroom.
The Dolphin 64 Cruiser flybridge, which stretches onto the aft area of the main deck and can be easily accessed through the wood and steel stair of the cockpit, features wide spaces for handling the yacht from the outside, enjoying the company of the guests.
The crew area is located to the stern, in the lower deck. It is completely separated from the other guest areas, and it has been renovated and enlarged, also with the introduction of a utility room which can be accessed from the stairs of the galley. This area is very well organised, with one cabin for two crew and a bathroom.
PROPULSION AND PERFORMANCE - The Dolphin 64 Cruiser can be equipped with two different MAN engines: two 1,100 mhp V10 engines as standard solution, or two 1,224 mhp V12 engines as optional version. With the first option, the yacht features a 29 knot maximum speed and a 25 knot cruising speed, while with the more powerful engine it can reach a 31 knot maximum speed and a 27 knot cruising speed (preliminary data).
